100mm Polish wz. 14/19 Howitzer on DS wheels - 1/72
Hello everyone :)
Today a quick review of 100mm wz. 1914/1919 howitzer in 1:72 from First To Fight company.
This howitzer was the basic gun of Polish artillery during fighting in September 1939.
According to the entry from 15th June 1939, the Polish Army had about 900 such howitzers.
There were previously produced at the Škoda works and used in the Austro-Hungarian Army during World War I. Production in Poland started in 1928.
Inside the box there are two sprues marked "O" and "P" including 25 parts - but in this version of model we need to use only 14 of them :) The other parts are used interchangeably when building the second variant of howitzer.

Parts are nicely cast and the details are sharp and superb as usual.
The plastic is quite soft and easy to work with. It's important to notice that the gun barrel is hollow.
In my opinion, the cover of the howitzer is a bit too thick, but let's not forget that the model is recommended for wargaming :)

Apart from the parts of howitzer we will also find an interesting addition such as 2 wooden ammo boxes and single shells :)
Look at the tiny details of the valve wheels^^
To sum up, it's a high standard kit with a lot of
perfect details and very attractive price - really worth recommendation.
See you next time :)
